Wow! What an ending to Col Moran. I'm curious as to who will be set up next. You have a largw pool of bad guys to choose from: Superior Bloodlines, Police corruption and mole on the bike, the four, his sister. With the closing of this door you have given us a lot to look forward to. Thank you for this series! I hope the break you take will help the creative juices continue to flow.
... to those who got it right. I've had private messages as well as public ones here, and some got the "Uncle Harvey" right, and some got the Don-Cindy relationship right (yes, she IS a Troy...). As to what's next, we have a whole now "season" (or story year), and I have given the clue of the direction in the Epilogue of this story... :-D

Constructive Criticism
Love your stories. But I don't care for the ending to Wargrave. I'm not a fan of the Iron Crowbar's vigilante justice. He could just as easily have beat the crap out of him and then arrested him.
But that's a minor qualm. Love your work and can't wait until the next one. As an aside... anyone remember a reference to expensive sherry in another story? I can't remember when it was, but I think we've seen this before. I'm sure it's a clue to the shadow man's identity, but now I can't remember when it was, and if we know who it was...

Your thought sent me searching. I believe this is what you are looking for. Had the same thought.
Sting of the Scorpion Ch. 05, Page #3 (The last several paragraphs, starting at the ******** and ending before Part 21 - The Scorpion's Fatal Sting)
