sad story, but all too true

Wow , this was one of the more un JPB stories that he's ever posted. I guess it is a true reflection on real life where sometimes two people outgrow their love.
That would actually be a great tradition of LW that I would love to see brought back. I know Jake Rivers had several "contests"(?), can't remember what he actually called them, but he would challenge authors to submit a story based on some particular artists songs. I recall a Sinatra one and a Willie Nelson one , but brother George Strait would be a great one , actually just about any country singer who's had several hits would work well in LW , for obvious reasons. Something for the Authorship of this genre to think about.

Apparently he ripped off George Strait's music. And what is via condios? I don't think some obscure italian road should be referenced here. Maybe something like "vaya con dios" would be a better fit.

The start was okay, typical JPB high school stuff.
The 'end' was no steak and no sizzle, just fizzle.

At the end of your life, when you are lying on your deathbed, will you regret not working harder at your job or will you regret not living your life the way God and Nature intended? None of use were meant to be slaves to any job. We were meant to live full lives and complete the human life cycle. Unless there is something wrong with you, human beings mate, they raise children, and they live life together. They didn't "fall" out of love, love is a choice. She chose not to care for her husband and her marriage. She chose the ego gratification of her employment over the gratification that comes from loving your spouse and your children.

Ho Hum

A story that started out with some real potential slowly fizzled down into a half-baked
wimpy assed cop out of an ending. That's too bad.
