This man is a true hopeless romantic, which is wonderfull to see in an erotic story as well as extremely rare.

The initial exposition is very straightforward but it makes sense for such a short story. The setting is realistic and belivable, and the main charicter is imediatly fleshed out and easy to identify with. The descriptions of repeling women and the mad scramble are fantastical yet lifelike.

The setting somehow works more than any porn plot for the meeting of strangers. The story moves and flows amazingly well. It does feel rushed but that in in keeping with the man's own feelings.

You find yourself rooting for the guy. He is unashamedly emotional and concerned primarily with his partner. He is quick to love and has a poetic temperment.

If there is one thing I would change is the supermodel references, his affection for her is obvious and the "dispite" comparisons just demean it.

The ending is beautiful, and very true (wink.)
