Not having read this forum for to long, i missed the original post. This chapter was 5 star! Looking forward to the rest.

This being your first story I see how it has affected your later writings, sharing some of the story aspects with a certain other story here on LE. Always nice to see how an author progressed and how his works evolved over time.

As for this one I don't know what exactly to make of it, all I know as a fact is that I hate & despise rape no matter where, how, why, to whom etc. It was by no means a bad story, just a tad bit sadder than your usual settings. You did warn about a dark pit to crawl out of so I'll admit I didn't prepare for such darkness and file it under my inadequacy, but as there is light at the end of the tunnel I shall keep my hopes of a bright ending.

You once more created strong individuals to carry the story and the painful experience only flashes it more brightly. I do however wonder as to how they be pot rayed in the future and how will they cope with it as the nightmare flashes only show Rod & June but nothing of Amy? Rod & June being together constantly makes it almost impossible for them not to develop feelings and need for each other just to overcome this, which leads me to the next point below.

Leaving the sexual aspect out is a great move and puts a layer of authenticity on the whole story, their mom seeing them and wondering what to do only emphases it further and gives hope of something more in that direction. Knowing your writing style and mother characters I think I know how she'll handle this but I'll refrain from any theories for now.

Dad Mr. Behan give off major secret stuff vibe and I bet that's the real reason why their parents can't be together, love obviously isn't the reason. Rod thought of marring Behan made me laugh like a madman though.

As a whole I would gladly give you 5* and some extra on top since you once more created a story that compelled me front he first line on. And of course you hooked my for this story so all I can do now is sit back and patiently await for the next chapter and maybe enjoy your other works in the meantime.

I think this was the very first story I ever commented on, I meant what I said then, and I mean it now; this is a wonderful, human, heartfelt story, once again your regard and concern for your characters, fictional though they are, is apparent and wonderfully expressed; if the people here in this story were real people, one could not care more for them and their world, and that is the mark of a true writer.

Please don't dawdle in bringing us more and more of this story, I remember how it went from last time out, but I still need to see it again in it's proper place.

On a sidebar, if only Will and I had someone like Behan watching our backs, we'd be able to dispense with the watchers in the woods and feel truly safe. Well done you, and hurry back with more! In the meantime, here's 5 stars, they don't count, I know, so have another 500 from both of us to go with them!

I thought for a while I was on a roller coaster getting jerked back and forth with the day one, day two stuff back and to. Needed a neck massage after all that.
Hope you improve the style. As someone else said, it is a bit irritating.
