Great story and great fantasy.

On another note the one time i saw something like this happen, before anyone could help, the very discreet security guy from the Studio went and helped her.

I've had a crush on Rachel since her days on Alias, so I'm really happy to see a fantasy about her done to this level of perfection. Bravo, author, bravo!

If I may be so bold, while not necessarily a continuation of /this/ story, perhaps a continuation of the theme of "average Joe hooks up with celebrity"?

And could see it continue as a "romance" type

While I'm not typically a reader of the celeb stories I have throughly enjoyed all of the stories of yours that I have read, so I thought I would give it a try.. In your usual writing style it was excellent as always. While I agree this could be a stand alone story, but like others I think you could easily add another chapter as well :-)

I went about two pages thinking it was the former ESPN and sideline reporter Rachel Nichols.. It wasn't till you played Q&A with the movies that I realized there must be another Rachel Nichols, and hopped on Google to find out what I was missing. Even still, great read as per usual. Five stars, as always.

Rachel Nichols and only one story? No!! Needs to be at least half the length of Continuum, to make up for the show ending!

Another chapter please, Im a sucker for happy endings.

Like your other works I've read, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story of yours, very well written and paced throughout. My only complaint would be the lack of chapter 2, while this story "could" be stand alone, I among others would love to see a continuation and see how things truly work out between Mike and Rachel. I'd love to see more progress, perhaps him being on set watching or helping her on her new movie as he supports her in whatever way he can and watching as their relationship blooms. Perhaps a time skip at some point but would definitely love a happy ending as these two have been great together, so either a marriage, child, or at least pops the question etc would be great if not all the above ^.^ If you leave it as stand alone I'll still appreciate it for what it is and let my imagination do the rest lol, thanks for the wonderful story!

Loved the story. Usually I don't read celebrity stories, because they can be degrading making the actress seem like a mindless bimbo. Kudos to the writer for making a delightful story. Since Rachel was married when this story was posted on Lit, should this be in the Loving Wive category? :-)

...but fell apart in the second half. Also, the whole fanboy angle was totally overdone.

I really enjoyed the story and think you should continue the story line. The affectionate interaction from Rachel makes it feel like this should not be left as a weekend fling.

A Funny Thing Happened. I was surprised when I could not find a follow up. You asked for feedback and the majority expressed a wish to read more. I searched but do not see one. Sad, I also do not see any recent postings, are you publishing anywhere else? A Funny Thing Happened was VERY promising but surely there is at the very least an answer to the question of the future thoughts between the 2.
