I love the story overall but you've written Nora like she's 5 or 6. Now you're saying she's 9? She's around 60lbs and 4'6" tall. She likely wouldn't be in a booster seat in the car and certainly people wouldn't bend down to speak to her.

Love this story so far, but as someone already mentioned Nora being in 4th grade is way off. That would make her 9 or 10, much older than you've portrayed her. It initially says shes 6 so she'd be in kindergarten or 1st grade depending on her birthday.
