I agree, ignore the first anonymous comment. Liked the story. Liked how compact it was, the singular point of view (hers) too. Interesting set up. Sure, a little more editing would have been nice but I can get past that and I think most readers can. This is not a published story that I paid to read.

Apparently there's some anonymous jerk commenting on a lot of people's stories with ridiculous, rude, negative comments. He should take his vitriol elsewhere - but maybe that's what gets his rocks off. Lovely story.

This was a deftly done story. I liked the way that you sketched in just enough detail for us to have a sense of the surroundings, the situation and the people. These feel like people that I've met and would enjoy spending some time with. Thanks for introducing them to me.
