Anonymousover 8 years agoInteresting start thought I notice that the plot is exactly the same as this manga I've been reading. Like exactly the same just different names, even the dialogue is almost identical in many ways
BlueMuffinover 8 years agoAuthorYep, I read what was translated of the light novel and really liked it (Ignoring the broken english), so I wanted to try and do something similar.
The beginning is incredibly similar to be sure, but I would like to think I begin deviating by the second half of this first chapter. I'm hoping to take the story in a different direction than the light novels (Less rapey...)

Anonymousover 8 years agoYeah, I was thinking about that manga too. The start is almost identical, but I'm so glad that it's going in a different direction. The manga is about the the main character using his magic to force himself upon young human women, using techniques to break them, and his reason for going to such absurd lengths to set up a dungeon is because he hates humans. BTW, he gets human villages to pay him tribute. Thank the lords that BluMuffin's doing such drastic changes!
Anonymousover 8 years agoI don’t about the manga you guys are talking about, but I know a similar work which was submitted on a Japanese erotica site. It’s called “魔王の始め方,” which translates into “how to start a demon lord.”
Your novel strongly resembles this work. Be careful.

Perhaps you could explain why he would want to create a dungeon rather than a kingdom, for a dungeon is just to house prisoners, right? So is he taking money from others to house prisoners?

cayoviolistabout 8 years agoWhile this is certainly based on the Manga being discussed, (the author admits it in the comments) it is clearly another spin on the idea. I for one don't want to see the author discouraged from telling me a story that obviously has so much promise. I love stories in this genre and want more, even if the beginning is clearly parallel to another story which could use some competition in its own right.
Keep it up, please, and give me more to enjoy!

Traixxxalmost 7 years agoI find your writing to be quite provocative and and very entertaining. I hope you return to finish what you have started. I have you listed as a favorite authors so that I may check on any progress, but it has been more than a year and I begin to loose hope.

inno0cent_bystanderabout 5 years agoNames it chapter 1, 3 years later there's no chapter 2. Author serially needs to go through with an edit pass to catch the double speak and other grammar oddities, but it was getting so good. Now I find out that it's a dead story right out of the gate. I guess this is the lierotica curse.
