I usually don't hold tragic toned stories in a very high regard, but what can I say, this was a little refreshing, especially thanks to the ending. I'm pretty tired of similar stories having that cliche-shitter element of "oh well... my better half just died but I guess I have to move on cuz life is too stronk". Fuck. That. So props to you for a proper firm ending. Cheers!
A tragic life a tragic love what a tragic story. I'm a sucker for happy stories with happy ending and normally hate sad stories especially with tragic endings like this, but this story was well written and had me spell bound even though I had tears in my eyes. I don't know whether to curse you or to congratulate you. Truly one of the saddest stories I've ever read on this site. 5 stars well done
"DOG DODO i'm dirty on myself for reading past 1st paragrah"
This is the kind of thoughtful, intelligent, highly analytical and elucidating comment I love! I particularly enjoy the level of detail this person provided in explaining what he/she didn't find enjoyable or believable (or maybe just objectionable.)
Yes, indeed. This is the kind of comment that really showcases the intellectual prowess of the commenter. Well done! (Especially the spelling and grammar--bravo!)
Oh, what is "Dog Dodo?" Is that an extinct canine or a maybe a bird dog of some sort?
I thoroughly enjoy your writing style and your stories...except this one! My passion is helping those who are thinking about taking their own lives and being there for those who are left when someone completes a suicide. Just cannot bring myself to appreciate this story as I understand the helplessness and hopelessness of people like Larissa and what they perceive as no way out. This is not a criticism, just my own personal feelings.
Very good…
Very few stories here have left me reeling quite as much as yours. *****
Wow
That caught me completely off guard. Great story, even with the ending.
GOOD STORY
I TOO WAS SUPRISED BY THE ENDING. BUT THE STORY WAS GOOD. HOPE YOU KEEP WRITING.
Pretty good

How terribly sad....

A startling departure. ..
Yet still of the quality expected by your fans. Another, sadly engaging, very well told story from an excellent writer. Five teary stars.

Too sad
Too dark.
Not an enjoyable read.
Perhaps there should be a category for darkness.
