Sad end to two sexual pioneers who deserve to be imprinted on the new $20 bill in all their fucking glory who illustrated there was no need to be afraid of sex back in the 60's. Light a candle for them both with gusto. If there is a heaven maybe I can get a Lovelace blow job when I arrive.
Assumption
I think people assume that if it doesn't appear to be forcible, then it wasn't. If she in fact was a drug addict, perhaps this was a coping mechanism for the nature of the work that ultimately perpetuated the work and behavior. Not a terrible assumption given the nature of things. Still there are so many questions starting with: if on drugs, is one able to consent and is one of sound mind? The movie was okay. She didn't seem unwilling but what goes on behind so many plastered smiles, we'll likely never know. If you like this sort of film and haven't already seen, check out 1974's Score. Also, same year Confession of a Young American Housewife. Mary Mendum is one of my favorite actresses of this era and genre. Died just a few years back.
