totally loved the way this story worked, for a number of reasons. It shows how love is after over 20 years together, in that you just don't throw away everything on impulse. Some would call him a wimp, but he wasn't, at least in my mind. He knew she was right in her approach to her cheating, in that he would forgive her, because he loved her that much. She probably would have forgiven him for a one time indiscretion. Asking for fidelity, and moving out was a question in my mind, but it was obviously the right move. The divorce was appropriate, he still loved her. inviting her onboard for the cruise was a questionable call, but maybe, if she did still love him, the divorce being final, there wouldn't be a problem, maybe a celebration with pam.

I spent must of the reading of this story just cringing. For the live of me, how can a man be such a pussy? The portrayal of the husband is such that it became so unreal, like a cartoon devoid of life. In real life I do not think that any real man would be such a wuss as to even be able to be in from of the cheating slut.

It didn't ring true for me

A wordy tale that in fact told very little, except for how many years they'd been married. On page 3 alone there are 13 -14 instances where you mention this, WHY ???? Did you think your readers would forget it, plus, it wasn't that important to the story. A below average plot told in a fairly uninteresting manner. 2 **

If you are cheated on and get a last chance and your partner continues to cheat with no consequence to you or your marriage, there is nothing that can be done but end it...unless you are a cuck and are fine with the woman cheating. That is what happened here. I can understand he loved and missed her...but with his decision to meet her after all that...he can't look at himself in the mirror with any self respect. I've now read three of these stories. In each I continue to hope that the women involved will heal their ways and eventually become honorable women . In each case I have been disappointed. If I keep reading these stories I may loose hope for most if not all women. I've been married and divorced twice. Both of my wives cheated on me so you can understand my dismay. I suppose the last chapter of your story may have supplied a small amount of hope.
