Don't worry about your grammar or writing style. Your voice is very close to sounding like a "native speaker", and the mechanics are probably better than 90% of the natives.
Made me laugh
I have 2 dogs (females) that I take for a walk every morning; there are days that I would LOVE to know what they are thinking. Your point of view and 'dog description' of human things was great.
And as for your grammar, you are doing better than a lot of native English speaking writers I read on here.
