Superbly done! I loved your "Sapphic Serenity," and this promises to be every bit as luscious. Your feel for lesbian erotica hits my sweet spot something fierce.

Hot tub
Pregnant women are told not to go into hot tubs as it is a cause of birth defects. I remeber that specifically for some reason.
While pregnancy isn't on my fetish list I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit. The whole loving atmosphere between sisters, the tenderness of the development, the pain of loneliness they are both going through and the steadfast determination they'll make it through together just its my soft spots.
It reminds me of your other lesbian story (Sapphic Serenity) but somehow upgrades it to a whole new level. while SS is about m/d who simply try to satisfy their lust (even with men sometimes), the one deals with s/s in a very tender situation and approaches the topic from more romantic view. The slow burn gives a unique perspective of this relationship that I can't do anything but admire and feel with them.
Also goes to show you have a particular gift of making even the saddest moments in life of your characters look cheerful and fill them with warmth, love, sex and romance. Your artistic talent only grows with each story!
In the end I gave you a 4* simply because I ain't that much into prego stuff, but then again I fully respect your writing decisions. Taking the time to write this might seem like undermining your other work (long gap between A&A chapters) yet I don't see it as such, you wrote this as a request from a reader and that is praise worthy by itself.
Very good start. Looking to se if the sisters comment to lesbian life

Authors like you keep me coming back
Trolls and people who can't be objective while they're rating keep me on the verge of leaving.
Seriously, men-children. Why the hell would you give a story a lesser rating because it happens to involve a fetish YOU don't like? That's not the least bit objective or helpful, it's just you being punitive at an author's expense!
Biscuit Hammer WARNED you in the opening about fetish themes, you read it anyway and then don't even bother to rate it based on the quality of the writing or the emotional response but because pregnancy sex isn't your thing?
Guess what, pregnant women get horny and being told that they turn men off with their big fat bodies is a horrible attitude. The author made two frustrated and frightened sisters seem sensual and erotic. But because they're pregnant, you jacked his rating?
You DO know that scouts for erotic fiction companies occasionally come on here and scan for worthwhile stories and potential authors, right? Would you buy a book from an author if you knew it contained a fetish you didn't like? No?
But you feel entitled to fuck them over for free?
Okay, done ranting. Biscuit Hammer, I gave this one a 5*, because I'm not terribly turned on by pregnant women but you made the sisters real and vulnerable and sensual together. You did an excellent job portraying something that basically no reader here will ever have to experience and if they did, they'd certainly appreciate what you've done. Kelsey and Jane are funny and engaging together, their emotional hurt is obvious and they're so alone and scared that they take to one another not only out of sisterly love, but a need to not be alone.
Someone may have requested this story as a favor, but it's clear you've had some interaction with pregnant single moms-to-be, because you nailed the very real fears they face daily dead on. Good on you.
Keep the story fresh and deepen their attachment, as I've come to expect from you. That's one of the things I love so much about your writing is the deepening attachment between your characters as the story progresses, it's organic and real.

No hot tubs!
As someone who's expecting, I can tell you that one of the first things that the doc says not to do is go into a hot tub/Jacuzzi

This was very nice
This author's way of building up sexual tension is extraordinary. I have been in the situation more than once in my life where I had a crush on someone, and I couldn't have acted on it, but I remember the buildup of sexual tension and it wasn't unlike what biscuit hammer manages to describe. This author could probably make income tax sound sexy.
