In addition to things like the misuse of hyphens (wrongly used in some places and missing in others), the story kept jumping between past and present tense. Pick one tense and stick with it.

Where IS the granddaughter, anyway?

I've seen nothing about Cheryl's daughter. To heck with any speculation about her future sex life (nor whether she is going to have a baby sibling). No idea of where Cheryl's daughter was while her mom was getting royally screwed over by her dad. (The ex-husband, that is.) Is she grown and thus did she spend nearly twenty years with her louse of a father? And is Cheryl so clueless that she didn't see her husband's wasteful ways? This would make a much better Non-Erotic story where you could examine issues like those.
