WAY too short for a first chapter to post solo.
The story doesn't go anywhere, so posting this by itself, so short a chapter, frustrates your audience.

Am not sure how to rate this!
I...for one...have little patience with"breadcrumbs." I am NOT a reader who ordinarily makes denigrating comments about any tale, but there are possibilities with this story line, however being over almost after just beginning will not hold my interest for long. Here is hoping for more substance to a chapter 02.

This is not a show....don't hold back too much.... take your time...make it nice and lengthy so the readers are appeased.
A GREAT start
I am a romantic, and I like a slow build up. I am looking forward to chapter 2 and all that follows. I have read am enjoyed all of your stories. But I have a feeling that this will be my favorite.
