disappointed fan
Good story, but take more time to get facts straight. She's a 32 year old widow of 5 years whose husband lost long battle with cancer leaving her with a 3 year son. He is a college graduate who she met 2 years earlier who is 12 years her junior. Meaning he is now 20 and 18 when they met.
Brooke is 32 was 27 when her husband died leaving her with 3 year son. Which means she got pregant at 23, while finishing law school and nursing a sick husband through losing battle with cancer. Normal lawyer progression is BS around age 22, maybe late 21. Three years for law school finish at 25, maybe late 24. She was a BUSY girl!
Also, her husband got her pregnant while fighting cancer. Most guys with serious cancer, are incapable of fathering during that time, chemo and radiation treatment do a real number on the swimmers. Most good guys, who think they may not make it would be hesitant to get their young wives pregnant, knowing it will make her finding another husband tougher. He thought to have good insurance. Just saying.
I enjoy your stories normally, but you just did not take any time logically plan the story board with this one.
Second time female heroine
Second time using the same female story line. But as Trojanman said her story is convoluted this time.
