A very good start, but it lacks the background development of the characters that you have given us. Plot is good and very believable with the father and girlfriend. Looking for to the next chapter and what cums about
make the chapters longer. If each chapter is over a page then people will vote higher scores. Most don't like one page chapters, they just start to get into the story and then it ends.
