I thought I explained it clearly. The math is only the proof of the reason she's stuck on her island. Energy expenditure is the key.
Aka: make damn sure you know why the patient is in the state and how to treat correctly before attempting said treatment. Looking forward to the next installment... Carpe Diem book 2?
