Should have known it's going to be a great one, again
After reading your other stories I really shouldn't be surprised to see this one being just as sweet and adorable as the rest. Being themed abut the autumn of life the love found and shared only makes it so much more potent, from the moment he said "Hello" to her they were destines to end up together. The faster pacing and directness of the characters, the romantic settings, the real-life feel, internal turmoil, drama of antiquation, these are all elements you managed to combine here into something really superb and something we get to see all too seldom even on LE.
There were 2 or 3 small mistakes (like "my" instead of "me") but nothing mayor, just so you know.
5* aren't even a discussion anymore.

I had been stuck . . .
. . . halfway through Chapter 13 in Mark and Jennifer, but I finished that up and just submitted it. It's a bit different than the stuff before.

They have a lot of learning ahead of them.
I liked it
Mr Richards' first-person character made the insightful comment: "People have to work on marriages, people have to work on relationships, to make them work, but you don't work on love; you are either in love, or you aren't."
Can you define love? Or is love one of those things where you can only say "I'll know it when I experience it". ?
I found this to be a beautifully crafted story about two mature people who fell in love with a speed more appropriate to much younger lovers. However, the dialogue was of two adults being open and honest with each other about their feelings and what they were experiencing.
If only we could all be like that all the time.

As you get older, first it's
"Are we going to do this? I've got stuff to do."
Then later on you stop buying green bananas.
Geography
Not only did I love your story, I loved the geography! Using Google maps on my phone I now know there really is a Engine House deli in Winchester. I think I'll have to visit it and the Red River gorge very soon. Thanks again for the wonderful read.
