Ok so this is not Sci-Fi, it's just Fantasy

but other than that you have the start of a tale. Work on your world building, we have basically no description of your main character, (had to see the tags to see he was human) and now we have mind control.

Not to discourage you, but find an editor, one that is willing to work with you on building a proper storyline.
