I've already told you cops can lie to facilitate a bust. It isnt entrapment and no lawyer would bother defending it. A more believable option would be the cop taking a payoff. Yes cops are allowed to lie. My story says so. Lying is not illegal and it's not entrapment.
No, cops are NOT allowed to solicit sex for money. That is illegal and THAT is what is entrapment as my story clearly says. Cops are not allowed to perform illegal acts in order to make an arrest. So it depends on who mentions money for sex first, the girl or the cop.
And Matt, as a further note, the couple of times cops solicited for sex they lost their jobs (as you suggested they might) as well as the arrest being voided because the cops had committed an illegal act. However, fucking is not illegal so, since Denise and Gail solicited the cops in this case, they were arrested and the cops kept their jobs. Tax dollars at work, lol.
