I get very emotional at some things I read on this site , and I need to do a much better job of containing my emotional outbursts .
So , if I have caused anyone any problems via my comments , then I am publicly apologizing for them.
I had a childish tantrum a few months back to a Javmor series. He then contacted me via the feedback , and we had a very informative and frank discussion.
He imparted one thing that I always try to remember now , it takes a lot of guts to actually create a story , a piece of your own imagination , and put it out for the world to judge. And then get eviscerated for your efforts.
That logic actually got through my thick skull.

If you can't stand the heat; stay out of the kitchen. There are so many grown kids whose deadbeat parents let them have their way. Because of this, they get agitated when everyone don't agree with them. If you don't want your work criticized, don't post it.

And I get a little cranky when you say the cuckold has its own hub, LW. Once again, I have no problem SHARING LW with cuckold, my only point is that if anyone should move it is cuckold as it is a fetish.
As far as revenge, divorce and murder, since they are just about always the result of sexual acts, that's where the erotica comes in! I think you will find very few stories in LW where somebody isn't fucking someone!
.Many are not remotely erotic. Still, if you post in non-erotic, you may as well delete the story. The writer of this story states this is an erotic story in the story teaser. It really isn't very erotic. Most writers do not make that claim in the teaser. Revenge stories are not erotic. Often RAAC stories are not erotic. Is this a surprising revelation? If SS insists on only erotic stories being posted here, she'll be gone with the rest of us.
I think any story with a wife important to the plot is fine for this category. I am not keen on girlfriend stories in this category, mostly because the emotional and financial investment is not there. The girlfriend pulls a train and you don't like it. How hard is it to get rid of her?
I think we should avoid calling writers and other commenters harsh names. But, if it helps keep angry people from going postal, they can call me a cuck, wimp, fag, or Brit. (How did that evolve to be an insult?) I have never been to England, but would love to visit there. We really should appreciate that we have this site and enjoy the comment section, which is pretty unique and useful. As far as personal insults go, I really don't give a flying fuck. I don't know the commenters. They don't know me. I am not running for office. Bring it on. I do appreciate thoughtful, intelligent comments, and humorous ones.
I'm not sure if we're allowed to name it, so I won't, but if you don't like nasty comments, post there, they don't HAVE comments!
What they DO have is a ten point grading system, which I wish we had, primarily for those top stories that are better than four stars, but not the "hit it out of the ballpark" that it needs to be a five star.
You will insist that it is possible for a person to love two others at the same time while writing stories which plainly demonstrate that your heroines love only themselves.

Sharing
If your into sharing that's fine and it's just a story but really the statement "If you don't have sex with other men, you won't ever have any orgasms." was a ridiculous attempt to justify the whole story!

It really pisses me off
when a fucking author turns off the ratings on their stories. I was going to give you 5* on this story. Now I'll just give you 1* on all the other stories you post and not even read them.

90% discussing the merits of Loving Wives. Do you really want to turn this category into swinging stories only? You would lose all the serious readers. Count on it. I read for entertainment only and swinging/willing cuckolding stories does not entertain me. I come to LW for the variety, found almost in no other category. Take away the variety and what's left?
There is cuckoldry, and then there is witting (willing) cuckoldry.
A man whose wife has an affair is, by definition, a cuckold and certainly stories about marital infidelity may belong in Loving Wives- extramarital ""fun". However, I would argue that witting cuckoldry moves over into paraphilia- especially those who get off on being humiliated and desire actual pain or are into eating another man's cum or other homosexual acts should be moved into more appropriate categories (eg. FETISH, GAY, BDSM, or NON-Consent)
Wives who want more than a little bit on the side and who seek to humiliate and destroy their husbands emotionally and psychologically are sexual/psychological sadists FETISH and NON Consent probably more appropriate.
I don't care much for BTB and RAAC stories. Betrayal should carry with it consequences, as should murder, maiming, and mayhem.
I can't make myself like characters who claim to love their spouses so much that they want them to fuck others. That is a pipe dream and, frankly, self deception of the worst order. Despite what Joe may claim, I can find no legitimate studies that support his assertion that thinking about and watching the wife with another man even breaks the top 25 or 50 of fantasies. I will welcome correction. I have found a study from 2013 indicating that maybe 4-9 percent of husbands entertain that fantasy. will link it later if y'all are interested.
Violence of any kind is reprehensible. Rape and forced sexual activity should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
You say: "I didn't read your story. Not erotic or interesting to me." If you didn't read it, how do you know it wasn't erotic?
And then there was your comment a few moments earlier about cuckoldry and willing cuckoldry. What does this have to do with this story of Signe's?
I like reading your comments. You and Sugna are the two commentators perhaps most diametrically opposed to my beliefs about married relationships. But it might be a good idea to try to make your comments have some connection to the story on which you are supposedly commenting.

Somebody, a little help please?
Someone from the "Consequences" side should tell foolscap to read through the entire 80+ comment thread and note that the war between factions of LW is over and we have decided to share the category amicably without going into each other's story comments to hurl stupid foulmouthed insults. Please?
I show you tens of thousands of stories written about wife-sharing, and tens of thousands of videos, and countless books all written on the same topic, and you insist that it isn't enough.
Okay, fine. A pair of neuroscientists named Ogi Ogad and Sai Gaddam (no, seriously, those are their names) performed some research for a book they wrote. They analyzed the data for a BILLION online searches. Guess what the number two search request was for heterosexual porn searches?
"Cuckold porn."
Go to Amazon right now and search for "cuckold erotica." How many hits did you get? Hundreds? Thousands?
Listen, you can continue to shove your head up your ass and insist that daylight doesn't exist. Whatever helps you get through the day. But facts are facts and reality is reality, no matter how much you fight it.
I'm not even referring to the number of men who have ACTUALLY shared their wives. I'm referring to the extremely common fantasy of doing so. The vast majority of men who fantasize about it wouldn't actually go through with it in reality.
Again, I point you to the hundreds of thousands of stories, blogs, books, and videos that prove my point. If wife-sharing were such an uncommon fantasy, there would be so little demand for these things that they wouldn't exist.
BDSM is supposedly an uncommon fantasy, yet "Fifty Shades" sold millions of copies. The open market has a way of revealing what people like and don't like.
Listen, I understand that this disrupts your worldview. I can't stand soccer. I'd rather be waterboarded for three hours than sit though a soccer match. Yet, I don't deny that soccer is the most popular sport on the planet. Just because I feel a certain way about something doesn't mean I have to deny the reality of the way the rest of the world feels.
A couple of points: First, as the article says, fantasies are fantasies because they AREN'T real, i.e. just because someone FANTASIZES about something doesn't necessarily mean that they REALLY want to do it!
Second, in this particular survey FFM was #3 and watching IN GENERAL was #5. Please note that while watching your wife is included here, this entry ALSO included voyeurism and mutual masturbation, so I think it's safe to say that if the respone was limited to watching your wife with other men the ranking would be even lower!
The second survey moves threesome up to #2 and watching down to #7, again including all forms of voyeurism, not just watching your wife with another man.
I found that same survey when I went looking for some sort of study on men's fantasies. The problem with that particular survey is that it includes ALL men, and not just married men. You can't fantasize about your wife with another guy if you don't have a wife.
If the question were asked: "have you ever fantasized about your wife with another man?" we could probably put this one to rest, but a) they didn't ask that question, and b) how many would admit to such a fantasy?
This is why I believe the market does a better job of revealing what men fantasize about. I don't even know how a compelling argument could be made against it -- especially considering the fact that we're discussing this on an erotic website in the section of the site dedicated to wife-sharing! If this were such a rare fantasy, why on earth did Lit create a category just for those types of stories? (And why would it be the most popular category on this site?)

Erotic ? In no way shape or form, sorry I took the time to read this drivel
I read it, No character development, nothing to make me want to like the characters. Flash stories can be entertaining, poignant or even bitter, but they leave an impression. This attempt is not flash, but a bit longer, more like a recollection. But nothing to make you want to read more about the characters. Drivel.
If you want erotic, read TX Tall Tales, that's erotic and well written.

Anonymous, why are you posting?
I rarely comment, but this time I will.
I didn't really care for the story; but, that's just my opinion.
However, I am offended that you called the author an illiterate whore.
First, she is obviously not illiterate; if anything, you demonstrated that she is far more literate than you are.
Second, she warned that this was in effect a "cuckold" story and if you didn't care for that genre, not to read it. Yet, you still read it! You obviously have some serious emotional issues, probably hurt by a woman in your past, and i strongly recommend that you seek a therapist for counseling. I say that with sincerity, not maliciousness.
I send this as anonymous only because i have not yet "signedup".
I would bet any amount of money that if you asked 100 married men, in an anonymous survey, would you rather watch your wife fuck another man, or have an FFM threesome, that a MINIMUM of 90 would say the threesome, and I'm not even asking to exclude the cuck wannabe's, if it were 100 normal married men, the figure would probably we over 95!
I suppose breaking into the top ten qualifies as "one of the top", although I'd be interested in seeing it separated from other voyeuristic fantasies, I have a feeling it would rank much lower.
It STILL doesn't make it any less a fetish. and IF any category of stories is to be moved it should be cuckold into Fetish!
"Everything is a fetish, depending on how you define it."
"But cuckolding should be moved to Fetish!"
"Okay, then non-erotic stories about divorce, revenge, and murder should also be moved to Non-Erotic. Then nothing would be left in Loving Wives except romantic stories about monogamous married couples...which should be moved to Romance."
"What we really need is to create two or three new categories!"
"True, but the admins won't do that so the authors have to police themselves."
"Right! By moving cuckold stories to Fetish!"
(That sound you hear is my head banging against my desk repeatedly.)
First, I am NOT trying to move ANYTHING, just that IF there is to be a move it should be cuckold.
For Erotic Stories purposes, it depends on the focus:
If a Loving Wives couple happens to have anal sex, among their other sexual activities that does NOT make it an "anal" story. If the entire focus of the story is anal sex, then it IS an "anal" story, and therefore should be in "Anal", and if there wasn't and Anal category it should be in Fetish.
Similarly, if a wife has sex with another man, he IS a cuckold, but it is NOT a cuckold story if he refuses to accept the situation, fights back, maybe gets some "Revenge", maybe gets a "Divorce", maybe in extreme cases commits "Murder". Now you may not consider them erotic, but these usually, if not always describe sex acts, whether that be husband/wife and/or wife/lover and/or husband/rebound partner. In My Most Humble Opinion that makes them erotic, and I BELIEVE that I am in the majority on that score.
"Everything" is NOT a fetish. No matter how you define it traditional sex is not a fetish.
"But cuckolding should be moved to Fetish!"
"Okay, then non-erotic stories about divorce, revenge, and murder should also be moved to Non-Erotic." - I MIGHT be inclined to agree with you, but as I described above, in LW the reason for the divorce, revenge and/or murder is generally an erotic act. YOU may not feel that the sex acts described are particularly erotic, in some stories I might even agree with you, but that doesn't make the story Non-Erotic!
It was a lot of work but I went through all the comments once again to see if there was a bottom line. I deleted some comments as follows:
* Not all the anonys, some had actual thoughts in them. I deleted all the ones with foul language insults and all the one liners with no actual content. I know they will be back but I wanted to see how many actual thoughtful comments were left. I had to delete one anony that was actually on my "side," although I like to think we no longer have "sides" because there is no longer a war. That one anony was deleted because it had foul language insulting and taunting authors of "Consequences" stories and no comments on my story or the issue being discussed (whether we can all coexist within LW).
* I was tempted to delete one long rant by an anony because it is full of lies about me personally but, because it has actual thoughts in it as opposed to just cheap filthy insults, I left it up. I'm not thin skinned as you can see by what I left.
* I left almost all but ONE of the comments posted by real people with real user IDs. Many were good, all seemed sincere and thoughtful, even the ones I didn't agree with.
* The one person with an actual userID I deleted was the idiot troll bayernhoerl because this was the essence of it's comment, obviously meant only to enflame and taunt: "An author like an pubescent teen!!! Only the shit in the authors head is bigger!! "
I hope no one thinks I was thin skinned for deleting this one? I know the morons will post their filthy tripe again soon but for a second the result is 82 (Eighty-two!) worthwhile comments by real people. As for the anonys who post one liners and meaningless insults I guess I have to pretend they don't exist, to look through them as if they aren't really there, similar to how we look through power lines to see a beautiful sunset. Good job, real people!
For me, this all started because I was gang-raped on my first couple stories by comments containing inexplicably personal insults using the foulest language I've ever heard.
Have you EVER been raped or known ANYONE who has been raped? If you had you'd never equate COMMENTS to being raped. My closest friend was gang raped by 7 poor excuses of 'men', so you claiming you were because of COMMENTS pisses me off. It's ludicrous to claim that and THAT comment stopped me reading your stories. All you seem to do is bitch about comments especially from anon, you don't want them? Then don't allow them.
* I'm sorry to hear about your friend being gang-raped, physically. That's indeed horrible and I hope those men went to prison for long or life terms.
* I still maintain I was gang raped verbally and it wasn't just by anonys. Some with actual user IDs threw foul-mouthed, intelligent-content-free insults at me consistently, on all my stories, even those not posted to LW, even those with no wife in them at all. One person with a real ID still does this, bayernhoerl.
* Verbal abuse should have "Consequences" just as much as physical abuse. It's considered BY LAW to be just as much of a personal violation when it becomes egregious like the comments on my story were. That's why women win sexual harassment lawsuits often, even when the only offense was verbal harassment. Try saying the things that were said to me as story comments to some woman you associate with in real life and see what happens.
* If there was a way to turn off anonymous comments I would have long ago. Checking the box to do that only results in people not being able to send comments in email unless they provide their own email address. No one has explained anything different to me so far. I think Literotica has no means to keep people from posting anonymous comments on stories. Every story I've ever seen posted on Literotica has anonymous comments and I'm certainly not the only author bitching about them. I am learning to "not see" them, as if they're not really there. It's possible to do because only a subhuman non-person would be so chicken shit as to post filthy worded one line insults as "comments" on a story. I'm talking about stories on both sides of the fence too.
* PLEASE feel free to stop reading my stories. I'm sure I won't notice the decline in revenue, lol. I'm not going to delete your comment because it doesn't contain any foul language pointed at me and you're trying to make a point. However, I certainly won't miss your comments when you're gone over the rainbow.
In your control panel, click "Options" under the "Main" category. There is an option there to turn off anonymous feedback. Anons will no longer be able to leave comments on your stories. People can still contact you, but only if they leave a return email address.
I'm afraid this was not erotic. There was nothing in the form of character
development, situational setting or pacing to make it erotic. You describe what was happening but there wasn't even much smoke, let alone any fire.
Thank you for telling me how to turn off anonymous comments. As you can see from the comment made today (another illiterate whore) we now know at least one of the User IDs for aonony and you can see preventing him from posting as anony won't stop him. At least it will cut down on the volume of his foul mouthed, childish, retarded comments, ya think? Send him some personal halte mail. See how he likes it.
Oh wait, now I remember. I wrote a long thoughtful note in response to your question but you have turned off feedback unless I give you my email so my response didn't go through. I won't be giving you my email because you were obviously just baiting me. I don't think the issue is of interest or pertinent to this thread so I won't be posting a response to it here but the short answer to your question is, hypothetically yes.
You and I should write something together. You have to admit, our viewpoints, according to you, are vastly different. The plot clashes and character development would be tremendous. Think about it and drop me a line.
You're too late. I already sent you a reply, a nice polite thoughtful one, while you were being an adult and allowed private feedback without email. Then you saw a polite comment I made to Van as a story comment and you became a child again. It seems some men never grow up. In his foreword, Van asked for feedback from anyone who was one bombing his stories anonymously or reporting them as Non-Erotic. I did neither and wanted him to know it wasn't me. Like you, he has also blocked personal feedback without email so the only way I can reply to him is with a comment on a story. I want people to know who it is that is thin skinned. It's not me. If you see the comment posted shortly before yours,
"Vote 1* for 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐔𝐌𝐁 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐖𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐄™ aka WHOREDSigne!
Yeah, send me some hate mail, LOL. You must be a very dumb cunt,"
you might be grown up enough to realize why I'm not going to give you or others like you my email. Nowhere, on any other story sight is such abuse allowed by moderators. Literotica is the only place that allows it. Professional sites like Amazon vet review comments before they're posted and reject any containing abusive foul language. Test this out and you will see.
i can enjoy both BTB and RAAC stories, and I like your work.
Barring a means to identify which is which, Loving Wives will always be an uneasy alliance of twin princes both of whom want the crown.
It's not as great an issue in my usual arena, but my best suggestion is to ignore the haters, burn the off topic posts, and keep writing, keep posting your stories, and take the good while leaving the bad.
I don't know if the trolls think their posts are entertaining, or if we believe they read an entire story only to flame it mercilessly, or to ignore the story while attacking another person instead... it's a pathology, especially when they did not have to pay a cent for the story and can post in comfortable anonymity.

Self-Revealing

Foolscap, how do you know?
You say: "I didn't read your story. Not erotic or interesting to me." If you didn't read it, how do you know it wasn't erotic?
And then there was your comment a few moments earlier about cuckoldry and willing cuckoldry. What does this have to do with this story of Signe's?
I like reading your comments. You and Sugna are the two commentators perhaps most diametrically opposed to my beliefs about married relationships. But it might be a good idea to try to make your comments have some connection to the story on which you are supposedly commenting.
Lue
Somebody, a little help please?
Someone from the "Consequences" side should tell foolscap to read through the entire 80+ comment thread and note that the war between factions of LW is over and we have decided to share the category amicably without going into each other's story comments to hurl stupid foulmouthed insults. Please?
Foolscap
To foolscap (again)
Fantasies
Here is a link to one survey, that I found by doing a Google search on "Top male sexual fantasies".
http://www.everydayhealth.com/mens-he alth-pictures/top-sexual-fantasies-for-men.aspx#01
Thanks, sbrooks
@swingerjoe Re: Surveys
"Have you ever..." is a long way from #1 fantasy!
Sbrooks
I had to scroll down a few thousand pages to find what I actually wrote. Here it is:
"I hate it break it to you all, but wife-sharing isn't a "minority fetish." In fact, it's one of the top sexual fantasies for married men."
I never said it was #1. I said "one of the top." People here have a nasty habit of putting words in my mouth!
By the way, I'd also take a theeesome with two hot chicks over watching my wife with another man. See? We have something in common after all!
Its just as well you whacko's couldnt procreate
to pass along your goofy philosophies.
@swingerjoe Re: "One of the Top"
I suppose breaking into the top ten qualifies as "one of the top", although I'd be interested in seeing it separated from other voyeuristic fantasies, I have a feeling it would rank much lower.
It STILL doesn't make it any less a fetish. and IF any category of stories is to be moved it should be cuckold into Fetish!
Sbrooks
And around and around we go....
"Cuckolding is a fetish."
@swingerjoe, Trying to Save Your Head!
Thanks again to all
It was a lot of work but I went through all the comments once again to see if there was a bottom line.
@overtherainbow
Re: Anonymous Comments
I've never posted a story, so I don't know the process, but I know that you can suppress Anonymous comments.
Maybe you should check with Laurel?
Signe
In your control panel, click "Options" under the "Main" category. There is an option there to turn off anonymous feedback. Anons will no longer be able to leave comments on your stories. People can still contact you, but only if they leave a return email address.
@swingerjoe
Signe wasn't asking about Anonymous Feedback, but Anonymous Comments.
A big strike out!
I'm afraid this was not erotic. There was nothing in the form of character
development, situational setting or pacing to make it erotic. You describe what was happening but there wasn't even much smoke, let alone any fire.
Damn
Wouldn't answer my question? How disappointing. Such big talk.
Oh well
@ betrayedbylove
I did answer your question. Read your email.
@ swingerjoe and sbrooks
Thank you for telling me how to turn off anonymous comments. As you can see from the comment made today (another illiterate whore) we now know at least one of the User IDs for aonony and you can see preventing him from posting as anony won't stop him. At least it will cut down on the volume of his foul mouthed, childish, retarded comments, ya think? Send him some personal halte mail. See how he likes it.
@ betrayedbylove
Oh wait, now I remember. I wrote a long thoughtful note in response to your question but you have turned off feedback unless I give you my email so my response didn't go through. I won't be giving you my email because you were obviously just baiting me. I don't think the issue is of interest or pertinent to this thread so I won't be posting a response to it here but the short answer to your question is, hypothetically yes.
@SharedSigne Re: Abusive Comments
At least now you have a user name ti report to the moderators, and I'm not sure, but you MAY be able to block comments by individual users.
Damn
I didn't know I was blocked. I apologize. I will open up feedback. No baiting here. Just honest communication.
Silly story
Silly story wrapped around your message that you can love two people. Your skin might be a little thin as well regarding comments.
5
great story
I've been thinking....
You and I should write something together. You have to admit, our viewpoints, according to you, are vastly different. The plot clashes and character development would be tremendous. Think about it and drop me a line.
Q
I changed my mind.
Without your e-mail address I won't take any comment. Oh well.
By the way, after reading your comment to Vandy I changed my preference.
@ betrayedbylove AGAIN (sigh)
Test this out and you will see.
nice try at amelioration...
i can enjoy both BTB and RAAC stories, and I like your work.
Keep the stories coming!
RAlan
1*
Another illiterate WHORE posting cuck shit.
I find it funny that you would consider BTB in the wrong catigory
but cuckoldry is purely fetish. But to each his own.
