If much of your story is a blow-by-blow description of chess, you should understand the game better. First of all, you said that the rook used to castle was immediately taken, which means that you castled through check, which you aren't aloud to do. After castling, the king and rook are directly together- there can't be a bishop between them. The king also is towards the corner of the board, and shouldn't be adjacent to the bishop. Unless she took two turns to reposition her king, it wouldn't make sense for her to castle twice even if it was legal. Finally, if he hadn't noticed that the queens were exposed and lined up for several turns, he may be the worst chess player I've ever seen.

Super Read
Credible, well paced, and erotic...
Exactly what we look for in a story here...
More to come, we hope?
PS... The chess critic needs to reset his board...
Castling does leave the Bishop shielding the King...
Oh, 'aloud' the critic might be...but 'allowed' is the word s/he was seeking
BUT ALL OF THIS IS IRRELEVANT...
We like the story...other have faved it already... more will do so
Another story would be appreciated

Good Lord, all the chess talk killed my boner. If you're going to use chess rules in your story then do some research before hand.
btw - when you castle you can't have a bishop between the king and the rook.
