My Number Ch. 01

The perfect category

I was actually afraid of what you'll present here after your mention of LW category but then imagine my surprise after reading this. It has your usual touch and narrative style and yet conveys a completely different vibe than your other stories. There is a hint of possible long-term romance but also a lot first time experiences as well, the combination is equally entertaining as it's interest piquing. Marcys point of view is lot more personalised than Sharon or Jennifer, her fears and past bad experiences give her character a completely new appeal. And speaking of those fears - she fears falling for him and their possible future together a lot more than the inevitable revelation that he band a tone of dudes. Dave on the other had appears to be a lot more mature and down to earth than his virgin status let on, I'm really looking forward to see him grow and develop in the future.

If I can make one wish for the future it would be to change Daves appearance to something else than hypster, there are enough of those jokes everywhere I go these days to have them in such nice story. Maybe make it so that Marcy has the effect on him to just be himself and she like sit a lot better than his previous attempts to fit in with the crowd.

All in all you created another compelling story with colourful characters, reused some of your own ideas and gave them new life, ventured into a bit deeper water content wise, gave the story a bit faster pace than even "Under the Tuscan Sun", and added lots of other minuscule details that will grow over time to influence the story.

I once more gave you 5*!

I don't know where you're going to take this in Ch 2, but I think she's a little too hung up on her "number".

Unless she expects to run into all 54 guys, she can just say that she's had "some" experience, and let it go at that. I doubt that he's going to be that concerned as long as she treats him right!

It's easier for girls to get laid than guys, since most guys are always ready for an available girl. Considering that, 54 is not that big of number in three years: 18 on an average per year, approx. three guys every two months. It's pretty low considering she doesn't sleep too many times with the same guy. Any guy could pass that number, if he could seduce enough girls.
