This read more like a gay story that happened to have a girl in it.
And the girl happened to be related to one of the gay guys. But mostly it seemed to be about two guys, who were gay, doing gay shit together. You really should have put this in the gay category.

Can understand it a bit if they were just coming of age But really the whole story must have been written by a young boy it was all over the place and made very little sense
