Excellent story and writing...

Many times in the BTB stories we see on this site, the protagonist gets divorced, gets revenge, and then all sorts of great things start happening in his life. Money, sex, and power, his cup overflows while the ex stands at a distance with a shocked expression and weeps bitterly, "Oh, if only I had treated him better and recognized him as the handsome, studly, Captain of Industry, that he truly is! Woe is me". I realize we all need the tortured husband to have a better life after the ex is dealt with. It's inevitable, and healthy I think, that we all expect to see the "good guy" win and prosper; Right triumphs over Might. Evil does not prevail. That said, some authors take it to the extreme and it becomes almost laughable. I just roll my eyes, shake my head, and move on to the next story.

Your story was just right. Multiple women, loud, pounding sex, threesomes, etc., and I believed every bit of it. It didn't come across as excessive, fantasies of a sex-starved single man, or even improbable; you made it all seem completely real-world. It wasn't too much or over-the-top. I'm still not entirely sure how you did it, but I know it's the mark of great writing. Well done. Thanks for the story, 5 stars.

Masterpiece

Well written,great plot too short but a masterpiece none the less.

i think beth is truly burnt! although shes supposed to be "prettier" than nikki she has to see that the sex godess nikki has become is sexier than she could ever be and has taken the man that she took for granted and disrespected. nikki is a better woman than beth in every way.

I loved the humor... YOU were able to really paint a picture of what the characters were doing and the one liners and the interaction kept the story light when it was really sad.

Yes, all the good ones are crazy.

I like the way you speak of your characters "I let Nikki choose"; it's the same way I write; I am not "making it up" in the sense of deciding what goes on; I'm more kind of "listening to hear what happened".

Back to "crazy"

I work in Acute/ED psych and so I don't have a lot of time to build up trust and rapport with my patient's. Often blunt honesty can make that bridge. So sometimes when they are teetering on the edge of asking for help and telling me what's "really" going on - and they look sad and worried and say "I don't want to answer that question 'cause you will think I'm crazy", well I'm honest.

I don't care if you are crazy. What I care about is do you function in your life? Can you get your needs met? Do you have a safe place to stay, good people to support you? Enough to eat? If you cannot function, you need help. If you are struggling, maybe you just need enough help to get your balance again. But crazy? It's okay.

(people don't really get the concept of nurse practitioners; you could think of it as a doctor "provider" degree, but from nursing instead of biology - the AMA website gives it's mission as treating/curing disease/conditions; nurses treat patients. We start with the RN and have to study everything, then we specialize as providers.)

Amazing to watch Nikki go over the edge but pull it together to complete the plan.
It would have been nice to witness the cousin find Justin and extract his pound of flesh before turning him over to the Feds to spend some time as "Butch's" girlfriend in the pen.

Great imaginative story

This was my third time through it. Nice original twists with good characters and just the right pace and dialogue.
