Another poet's view on the passing of life,
the losses, the passing bys, the letting goes.
The ending says it all:
"You don't hear yourself cry,
don't see the inside die,
don't notice your own cold eyes -
just all the others."
You might want to rethink the "geek" line.
It's been quite sometime since I read anything new from you. I have missed what comes from your mind. I was bitten and then left, sigh.
Another spirit dies;
A soul's fires flame-out
Leaving cold, hard embers
And a hollow living shell,
Humanity's zombie.
The age old battle of man against the loneliness - the rejections - taking leave of family and friends he goes - who knows where - where he'll end up - nobody knows. Tragically sad.
