You have a vast library at your disposal called the "Internet." It is your dictionary as well. The English language, even if it isn't your first language, has thousands if not millions of descriptive words that you can you.

What I'd like you to do is read your story out loud to yourself.

When I first started writing it was suggested that I read out loud my stories. It has helped me a great deal.

Because of my vision issues I have my two closest family members read my stories as well.
