Given that there are only so many directions a plot line set up like this can take, it was pretty easy to see this one coming right down the center of main street. Still, the dialog made the characters believable and the whole reversal of the persue, retreat roles made her lines all the more interesting. I liked this. A lot. Also important but not as much….there weren't any clumsy sentences or klunky words to distract. In fact, all of the mechanics of the writing were at such a polished level that I wasn't distracted ever. The detail in descriptiong of the setting helped and didn't get in the way of what this was all about. So, yeah. Nice work!
