Enough with the "J names", already!

John, Jillian, James, Jennifer... it's difficult enough remembering which character has which name without them all starting with the same letter!

And, speaking of names, what's with "Jillian's daughter" and "my (John's) wife"? Your referring to them that way (instead of by name) becomes more awkward and contrived each time you do it.

Using everyone's real name. Sorry if the letter 'j' annoys you;) As for my wife and daughter, it's done that way so as to not bring their names into it. I don't feel like making names up. I decide to not use the real ones. I appreciate you reading the stories and that you feel that strongly about the content therein to write:)

It's funny how some actual situations in real life - such as everyone in a seemingly-randomly-selected group having first names which start with the same letter - can seem "forced" or contrived in writing. Of course "J names" are extremely common in the English-speaking world - witness all the fraudulent psychics (redundant, I know) who throw it out there, especially in crowd settings: "There is someone on THIS side of the audience who has lost a loved one... I'm getting a "J-sounding" name, like James, or George..." And, of course, several people in the audience raise their hands, certain the psychic is talking about THEM. "M names" is used almost as frequently... But thanks for taking the time and effort to not only READ my previous comment, but to REPLY to it as well. Much appreciated.
