This story drew so much tears from me, I literally cried on every page since Lilah's diagnosis. Never expected to read anything like this on this site.

Usually I would avoid stories that induce tears, but this made me so want to see Marley and Alex together that I can't just stop reading.I'm drown so deep in Alex I struggled to accept the love of Marley towards Lilah... I'm still not attached to Lilah actually.

Though the story is really awesome already, I would like it even more if you could wrote more about Alex and Marley's life at the end, after all those angst and tears, I could really use some brightness in life and to balance out the portion with Lilah. You could evolve more on Alex's feeling and struggles for waited 12 years and watching her love and best friend feel in love too.

Also I'm still curious about aunt Tanya's story, how she got HIV? Why was she single over the years? Kind of expected some clues in the latter part of the story.

Honestly, I was looking for a hot story to get me turned on.

I literally gasped when Marley's mom came in to destroy that moment.

And I read on. Because I couldn't stop.

And I cried. Lilah falling ill, then dying, Marley coping with it. Them feels! And then Tanya. Of course, you had to get out all of my tears, right?
First time in quite a while I've been crying over what I'm reading.

I love it, and I'm keen on checking every once in a while if there may be another tale of yours to read.

This was a fantastic tale. I became so wrapped up in Alex's character, I couldn't wait for her and Marley to get together. I kept thinking so this is how they're going to get together, only for them to be ripped apart again. I'm glad you finally put things right with the two of them. I'd love to read more about these two if a sequel ever appears.

okay I know at the beginning of the story it said this wasn't your first story but your first to be shared...

but you truly have a way with words, the foreshowing in the beginning how the characters of the book would come to reflect on the people in her life. brilliant

you have a roller coaster of a story here lots of ups and downs, the deaths in the story hit me, as ive lost plenty of people in my life so this was probably the hardest one to read. but I still love the story.

nicely written... yet too heavy

I both read your story. I read this last as i was a bit intimated of how long the story is... just the same I wheeled myself. " A story of love, loss and life" got me... i expected Loss will involve death i was right I hate having that heavy of a feeling but i know its needed in the story and it wasn't really a burden at first... I only felt that it was at the end... I was hoping that the heaviness of the Death of Lilah will have a less of any impact at the end when Alex and Marley officially end as a couple but it lacks the dept to take the sinking and painful feeling of Death of Lilah. I agree on one of the comments here that the ending seems rush... and somehow felt me wanting for more.

As much as I want a continuation of your other story SWEET TOOTH....I felt the AWWWW (that the hopeless romantic in me) in that story... but the ending to this was not enough to bring that out, as said the death scene was heavy that it felt INCOMPLETE in the end. Please revisit this story as I felt this one should have a continuation and justice to how patient ALEX WAS on her LOVE FOR MARLEY.

I came into this story for the sex, but shit... that was incredible. I'm not usually into romance stories, but I couldn't help but keep reading even when it became apparant that this was far more than just porn. A story hasn't made me feel this many things in a long time- nostalgia, sadness, hope, and even inspiration to get back into my own writing which I've neglected for too long. Thank you for writing this, it was perfect.

Was looking for a quickie, but now it's 5am and I don't regret a second. Wow. I don't cry often, but there were tears at times. The pit in the bottom of my stomach came and went. This story went in a completely different direction to how I expected it to go, and I started to worry that it was going to go too long, but it didn't. This is by far my new favourite story on the site (replacing "Sweet Tooth" at the number one spot!).

This is the only comment I've ever posted on a story, but I just had to commend you. You are clearly very talented, as demonstrated by how different your current stories are, but how amazing they are in their own ways. Please please keep writing more!

Couldn't stop

Your story kept a hold of me so strongly that I was late for work because I was so wrapped up in reading it (through tears by the end). Thank you for such a well-crafted, touching narrative.

I loved this story. I think my only complaint is that at its end they didnt decide to turn tanya's old house into a kind of shelter for kids from broken homes. Its the only way to really extend her legacy, and were i you i would start writing another series depicting this. Make the old gang staff at this facility and start another coming of age story with new characters while also giving readers an occational peak into the ongoing lives of older ones. You're a great writer and i think theres still more to tell here.

This was truly a great story. You have wonderful characters that are dangerously realistic. There were no 14 inch dicks (yes I know there wouldn't be much of that in the lesbian category) or 42ddd with perfect blonde hair and blue eyes. Your characters are friends, neighbors, maybe even classmates or coworkers. They are the real people in our lives and not tainted by the unrealistic expectations that society, media, porn, and etc. have so kindly built. Your plot was rich, it spanned a lifetime. There was no obligatory pool, BBQ, road trip, hotel stay or any of the other scenes that writers succumb to the pitfall of including. This wasn't a total orgy either. The sex was well timed and it meant something. This brought some tears to my eyes with the emotion and drama. This was not a masturbation story by any means. This is romantic and simply belongs between 2 covers. This was my first read in this section as well as my first of your submissions, and for that I must thank you. You have set a standard that will be hard to meet, though now I will read horse shit on construction paper with only the mindset that an open mind is ultimately and truly needed for it to be blown. To think that stories like this are here and we might never see because we are shackled by what we feel comfortable with, bringing content to not search for new and better.

Congrats on this, I would perhaps say this is my favorite story I have read here to date through out my years of anonymous reading and then finally creating a profile.
