Full of heart

This is the kind of content I yearn for. Where have you been all this time? The characters are all so amazing, seemingly alive, and well-written; the dialogue isn't forced, AND EVERYTHING FEELS SO REAL. The plot is magnificent! The fact that the story spun for around a decade gave it enough time to fully develop narrative-wise.
The build-up and the setting for the sex scenes only made it better, and not reduced it to empty and bland love-making.
All in all, kudos to you, and here's to more and more of your writing! Thank you for sharing this story with us.

I was so upset yesterday because I couldn't finish..wanted to cancel my plans and just lay up in bed and read this story - seriously tried to think on the best excuse to stay in and read lol. This story took me on a such a ride...all the feelings.... I cried, laughed and was so happy...I didn't want it to end AT ALL. It was one of those surprising beautiful stories that hit you out of nowhere. You are a truly wonderful wonderful writer...and this story had me from the beginning but I wanted to wait until I finished to post a comment. I usually refrain from reaching for technology first thing in the morning, but today I had to make an exception because I was soo hooked on these characters and their lives. What a beautiful and well written love story. Marley and Alex truly belonged together and i fell in love with them both. I cried several times , my tears easily falling down my cheeks. I loved the length of the story too. I just didn't want it to ever end. What a talent you have Kenna Colrite.

Awesome and Sad

I really loved it as it reminded of my ex who passed away in 1994 aged 29. I cried a lot especially when Marley's parents dragged her away from Alex. I was happy that Marley and Lilah met, it seemed very perfect, but bringing Alex back in to complicate things was a great twist. I really loved every word, as an Author myself found it very well written, with a few minor grammatical errors.
I was so happy that Marley and Alex finally got together, it was honestly going to happen though.
I hope you continue the story as it does seem like it does need more to say, I do have a plot twist though if you care to contact me.

I have been waiting, longing even, for a story like this. Thank you for not rushing the time it takes to fall soul searchingly in love. Thank you for never giving a bra size or other insignificant objectifying detail of a woman's body as a way of defining/introducing your characters. There's so much I appreciated about ease of reading this. Well crafted words, flowing sentences and a whole story unfolds. It was delightful.

Where to start....let's just say i've purposely waited a week to let this story sink in and give you a proper review.

You have written a remarkable, truly epic, decade spanning love story.
To be honest, I was rooting for Marley and Alex to get together. As such, bringing Lila into the picture would've made me "hate" her guts. However, she seems such a sweet, adorable and generous person, that I instantly loved her character and was heartbroken when she fell ill. Then having Marley and Alex take such, loving, care of her. You had me crying. Literally. A dear friend of mine had to nurse her partner through similar illness, so your story truly struck a chord in me. It reminds us all to never give up on true love, uncertain and scary though it may be. Just take the damn leap. To think that Alex and Marley are still so young and have a lifetime of shared memories ahead of them, gives me hope that you'll someday write another chapter. Either way, you've written what is perhaps the best story here on Literotica. Please keep up the brilliant work. I think your talent matches that of fellow Lit author SABitch, who is also a master in epic, raw, realistic, life spanning love stories that just resonate with a lot of readers. Screenplay

This brilliant work of art brought out feelings in me from simply reading that very few other pieces have managed to do. When the characters were pain, I too felt their agony. When they felt love, it radiated through me as I read. Even when Marley described her heartbreak induced need to stray from commitment, I felt the defense build in me. I would give my left arm to see this in a film format. I regret taking so long to break down and read the 22 pages; now I'd gladly read 222 more.

Thank you for writing this. I rarely read stories of this length but your writing captured me from the very start. I will say I struggled with Marley's love for Lilah at first. I so wanted her to be with Alex from the very beginning. I also struggled with some of the time gaps. A lot seemed to happen/change in a short space of time. It wasn't unrealistic though.

I love Alex's character. I love that she's so in love with Marley.I love that their love was raw, that there was continuing lust there.
I also loved that these were young people living their lives as they wanted in their own world without too much unnecessary interruption from outside forces. I like that Marley realizes she can be a jerk yet she is deserving of love.

For some reason I am still struggling with Lilah's role in this. I realize she's part of the trifecta and I guess both Alex and Marley needed her influence in order to prepare themselves for their relationship with each other. I'm not criticizing your choice. The overly romantic side of me is just taking over.

You have a real talent. Your writing is wonderfully descriptive and multi textured / multi dimensional without being overdone.
