Nail polish is for anyone who likes it

Much as the author discovered, wearing ones nails painted in vivid colors is actually quite enjoyable. Most women would readily agree but the majority of men would balk at the thought of being 'feminized' if anyone dared suggest it.

I think nail polish can be freely worn by anyone who desires to wear it. Period. It's just paint, that's all, and it certainly will not alter your sex or gender.

I've been wearing my toenails polished for close to seven years and thoroughly enjoy the way it looks and feels. And pedicures are a wonderful way to relax and unwind. And, as the author points out, you tend to take better care of your feet when you polish them because more people notice your feet.

It's truly one of those "don't knock it until you've tried it" things in life that may totally surprise you.

Nail Polish is for everyone!

I found this story particularly intriguing, especially because it was just two weeks ago that my girl friend 'treated' me to a pedicure complete with polish!

It began innocently enough, she was painting her toenails with a deep maroon nail polish and I remarked that I really liked the color. She thanked me and them really surprised me be asking if I would like to try it. She caught me off guard and took my hesitation in answering as an affirmative. Next thing I knew she was painting my toenails maroon!

When she finished she asked me what I thought and I honestly felt they looked okay. She seemed delighted that I didn't ask her to remove it and she even complimented me on how she liked it. I ended up wearing my toenails with polish on them for almost two weeks, she just took it off last night. I declined a 'redo' when she offered

(she was painting hers bright pink) but said I'd take her up on it another time.

What surprised me was that I actually liked how they looked painted. I did a little research to find out if this was unique and discovered that there is a growing number of guys who are wearing their nails (mostly toenails) painted now, I guess it's an emerging style. Who knew?

Toenail Polish works for me!

I enthusiastically agree with the author! It does feel great to have healthy and attractive feet. Since my first pedicure I'be been hooked on this!

And yes, I also wear my toenails polished in various 'earthy' colors. I'm not interest d in my feet looking like a woman's, I just like the way they look when painted.

I'm happily married to a gal who also likes the way my feet look with my toenails painted. I recommend you try it if interested and just enjoy it. It doesn't really matter what others think about it as long as you enjoy it.

Color for everyone!

I wholeheartedly agree with the author, nail polish has no gender. I think anyone who feels like adding a little color in their life should feel free to do so, and enjoy it!

I could have written this story! Seriously, I have been wearing my toenails painted for close to ten years now, and though it took a while to become comfortable with the idea, when I realized, like the author, that I was doing it for me and not to get a reaction or impress others, it all fit. I enjoy seeing my toenails painted in vivid colors, it brings me a kind of unexplainable satisfaction. Thanks for the great story!
