knowing your audience.

you'll find much better reception in the "Mind Control" "Transsexual" or "Fetish" categories. Probably in that order. There isn't really any science fiction here. And no fantasy either (yes i realize burning man has dragons, and elves, and swords, and such) but if you're hoping for a positive reception you're lacking the core qualities needed for this group.

This is not a discouragement to stop writing, write first for yourself. If this is your thing, go for it. But if you're going to "publish" even on a free site like Lit, knowing your audience is important.
