It is so much better to leave it as is, I know that some want a complete finish, to those I say use your imagination and think up your own ending it will be much better than anything else.

In her letter to him, I don't believe she could have truly expressed to him how taken she was with these other males...that she didn't just dabble in infidelities, she immersed herself in them.
Nor do I believe that she could have adequately expressed just how little thought she gave to her husband and family; how on two separate occasions she was sexually engaged while her husband was on the phone, and feeling no remorse, once his conversations were ended she continued her escapades. I doubt if she could have adequately conveyed how determined and willful she was in her scheming to be unfaithful.
Assuming all that I have, I can find her husband welcoming back 'Kate' a credible possibility. But were I he, knowing what I know from what I read, I would have nothing more to do with her, save anything regarding the children.

Brian needs a stronger reaction
I enjoyed the story and found it to be well written. Though I thought Brian, after reading Kate's letter, should have had a stronger reaction. He knew or suspected her original story was only partially true, if truthful at all. It bothered him to the extent that he promptly divorced Kate and didn't speak to or acknowledge her for two years. To learn in her own words the degree of her betrayal and wanton behavior, that she was in fact a bigger slut than he ever imangined, I think should have sealed any residual feelings about her. I don't think it would be unreasonable for him to seek full custody of his sons and to have minimal future contact with her. By her admission being a mother was a lower priority than hot sex and her current mental state probably limits her effectiveness to raise teenage boys, not to say anything about being a parental role model. Other than Brian ignoring her, Kate came out of the deal pretty well. She kept the big suburban house and had her kids without stigma or repercussion. Her letter was a another manipulation - to stick it to Brian again just before his marriage. Similar to her phone calls while she had another's dick stuck in her. If she had any feelings for Brian or the children's welfare she should have let the matter drop upon learning of his engagement. Her first reaction was to date and fuck Marc. Who, after all that happened to her family, she still considers to be a standup guy, though not suitable for marriage. I think a more realistic reaction for Brian would have been for him to move aggressively get her permanently out of his life and to take his chances with his new relationship. For Kate asking to be forgiven isjust a waste of words.

She should, that is, explain why she was acting not only so stupidly but also so dangerously, jumping from one man's dick, literally, to another --- while also pretending to be both a trustworthy wife (not true) and a loving mother (true), putting her whole family in jeopardy.
E.g., why wouldn't Brian move on and find another love, who would commit herself to him, who would be trustworthy of his loyalty and love?
Looks like some reclaimation is due and I due think they should get back together and then move on. His not marrying Teri give her a great chance.

I enjoyed the story, it flowed well. The only thing I'd fix was the intermixing of names. Sometimes the wrong name was put in the story ::Brian instead of Marc::
This story truly reflects the pain and agony of what happens to couples when one or the other commits adultery. In this case, Kate let her fantasy world become reality and couldn't tell the difference in her head and in the chemical makeup of her body which stimulates once the fantasy drives the addiction. Brian and the boys paid a heavy price for her straying. Kate deserved what she got when Brian ditched her immediately. What is interesting at the end, too, is that Kate went back out with Mark just for sex after knowing what he had said about her to Mandy. How sick and pathetic is that? She's still showing signs of her sluttishness. If there were a sequel to this, I would hope that Brian might do something to lead her on and then drop her like a fish in a stinky river. It would serve her well. The sex in this was hot, heavy and intense -- very good descriptions. A lot of repetition about how hot Derrick and Mark were and what Brian's physique was compared to those. That did get a bit old. With a good editor, this could have been tightened up and been a much improved read. Overall, though, a good read.

Unlike some of the other readers, however, I thought that despite Kate's incredibly wantonness, she's a, deep down, decent or at least feeling person (even if during these past 3 weeks or so her genitals have taken complete control of her life, dictating to her every move whenever she's not with Brian and her sons)...
If you remember, Kate's callous wantonness was exhibited most vividly, however briefly, in her excitement of seeing Brian possibly swallowing their young pool boy Derrick's semen remnants --- when Brian thought he was having some clean and romantic sexual acts with his beloved Kate...
Personally, I would never forgive a person who ever did that to me, even if they went on pleading for understanding, begging on their knees for forgiveness until eternity comes. That kind of behavior is not only egregious, in and of itself, it is also highly dangerous. That's how many diseases --- some curable some not curable, some fatal --- spread.
I am a bit shocked that people, grown up people, who engage in these sorts of sexual acts don't think about DISEASES! I mean, there are dozens of very painful and even fatal diseases out there, from STD's to HIV, all of which are transmitted by and large through sexual acts --- the EXCHANGING OF BODILY FLUIDS, right?
Seriously, this question is for women, because I think they are a bit more vulnerable to getting diseases than men, because both of the "quality" as well as quantity of fluids going from men to women are a bit more (though, as we know well enough, Brian, too, even as a man, is put in a situation just as precarious as his cheating wife Kate):
How could you ever think of letting a man, even if you think you know him [say, as Marc said, he tells you he's "clean"], leave semen in you, when you SHOULD KNOW that, chances are, if he's sleeping with you, he's also sleeping with a lot of other people, who are also sleeping and exchanging bodily fluids with many others, and so on?

Finally, back to Kate and Brian:
I think the abrupt ending was a bit cheap. Whether or not they "get back together" I think should be left to the readers fantasies --- no, should be left to the original author's mind, should be left to "Kate and Brian". A story this long, however, as reader has observed, should work itself out more conclusively.
E.g., if Kate was a truly remoresful, decent person, as I THINK SHE WAS (despite her callousness towards her beloved husband, ex-husband), she would reveal herself more and not only because she's hoping to "get back" with Brian. She should, that is, explain why she was acting not only so stupidly but also so dangerously, jumping from one man's dick, literally, to another --- while also pretending to be both a trustworthy wife (not true) and a loving mother (true), putting her whole family in jeopardy.
E.g., why wouldn't Brian move on and find another love, who would commit herself to him, who would be trustworthy of his loyalty and love?
Etc., etc.

Believeable until there appears he is considering taking her back. Romantic thought but hardly close to real life. To even hint at the possibility rankels the logical mind.

This Was Real...
...and it was also hot! The sex sequences were steamy, and very graphic. Great for a good stroke! But the Consequences... now those were really real. I can see Brian wanting to trust his wife. Now THAT I find acceptable. And so did Brian.
good story
I enjoyed the story, it flowed well. The only thing I'd fix was the intermixing of names. Sometimes the wrong name was put in the story ::Brian instead of Marc::
True Pain and Loss
This story truly reflects the pain and agony of what happens to couples when one or the other commits adultery. In this case, Kate let her fantasy world become reality and couldn't tell the difference in her head and in the chemical makeup of her body which stimulates once the fantasy drives the addiction. Brian and the boys paid a heavy price for her straying. Kate deserved what she got when Brian ditched her immediately. What is interesting at the end, too, is that Kate went back out with Mark just for sex after knowing what he had said about her to Mandy. How sick and pathetic is that? She's still showing signs of her sluttishness. If there were a sequel to this, I would hope that Brian might do something to lead her on and then drop her like a fish in a stinky river. It would serve her well. The sex in this was hot, heavy and intense -- very good descriptions. A lot of repetition about how hot Derrick and Mark were and what Brian's physique was compared to those. That did get a bit old. With a good editor, this could have been tightened up and been a much improved read. Overall, though, a good read.
Some folks just don't get it
This was a great story as well as a hot one. I think the possible reconciliation at the end is a good twist. I say this because ultimately, if we are committed to someone for life, overlooking even something as big as infidelity is a very real possibility. That's not to say that cheating is okay. It is meant to say that when two people are truly committed, love can conquer all. Well done.

Great Story
I loved this story from the very beginning to the very surprising finish. Kate's sexual encounters with both Marc and Derrick were very descriptive and very well written. I'm also a white woman who's been involved with black men for the past 14 years and because of this, I can relate to how much more Kate enjoyed the sex with these two black lovers. I know I can't speak for all white women, but from what I read into it, once Kate had her first taste of black cock, she obviously developed a huge preference for black guys. I say this because even when she was on the beach with Marc, and the three boys walked by, it was the black guy (Derrick) who she had special interest in having sex with. Yes, I understand that he was someone she already knew but none-the-less, I just feel that if he would have been white, she would NOT of had sex with him. Or, if all three of the boys would have been black, there would have been much more to the story. If she had truly loved her husband she would have got off of Marc's cock when her husband called at least. And if she had been thinking with her heart and head instead of her pussy, she would have set up blocks to keep it from repeating and getting worse. Anyway, I think if they both truly love each other, they can get back together. However, it would be far from easy for her to regain and retain his trust. Both parties would have a hard uphill climb to achieve that.

Interesting plot but needs work.
IR stories have their own followers of course, but the over use of adjectives for the "finely chiseled" blacks was annoying. Sometimes less is more when describing someone or something. Made me think the male writer was putting himself in the place of the female when admiring black physiques.
I can only guess that early religious conditioning makes impregnation into an erotic fetish. Doesn't do anything for me. Keep working on making characters consistent within the story, or at least create enough background to explain sudden shifts of character. It was hard to believe that Kate couldn't/wouldn't control her curiosity or lust from how she was first described.

But it would be nice to have an epilogue to this story, to tell us what you have already implied. That Kate and Brian get back together.
