Threesomes
This was wrong from the opening premise. Yes, guys like the idea of threesomes - with a second WOMAN, NOT a second MAN!
It's not going to take long for her to want some solo sessions with "hunky" Frank.
And I realize you're trying to add some depth to your characters, but the stuff with the church and alcohol was very much "who cares."

My issue with these threesome stories is the lack of tension. Too often, it's just a play by play of three people fucking on a bed. That's pretty much what this is, and it's a shame because you set it all up with an interesting premise.
The idea popped into the wife's head one night. She didn't hesitate to mention the idea to hubby, and hubby didn't hesitate to accept. In real life there would be a considerable amount of hesitation, debate, questions, discussion, more hesitation, more debate, etc.. None of that was in this story. They just got drunk and jumped into bed.
If you decide to do a follow-up, there are so many interesting directions that you can take this story -- IF you want to delve into the more dramatic elements of this category. If you want to stick to the fun, light-hearted fare, there's nothing wrong with that. I personally like to mix it up.

I agree with one comment that it is unusual for the husband to be seeking an MMF...unless of course he was also interested in engaging with Frank directly - that would make an interesting twist

Way back I was asked to dinner with a couple I knew. Later, we had a couple of drinks, then she came and sat beside me, a surprise.

Congratulations on a well-written story. Your grammar usage, syntax, spelling and punctuation are quite good, and your story had just the right amount of character development, dialogue and hot, sexy action. All in all, I thought it was a great effort, and I was pleased to see the story brought the anonymous nuts and fruitcakes out to criticize. That is the true mark of a good story--can it rile the crazies up? I gave you five stars for a good job, well done.

One of many stories with this plot...not bad, but not good too...They decided to have a threesome, just like they would have decided to have a mountain hike, or going to the beach...No reasoning about what this step would bring into their lives, no reasoning about what consequences could bring the aftermath...And also about what their "newly divorced neighbor" would think he was intiteled to from then on...Like visiting and fucking her when the husband was working...This is very good in a fantasy, where no harm is done or happens, but in real life issues always show up...For instance: What if the "newly divorced hunk neighbor" had a STD? Who would be blaming who for wanting the threesome and letting him fuck her unprotected? Would their marriage be strong enough to survive to such an incident? I know this is a story and in these stories all live in a world free of diseases...2*
Great story
You really nailed it. The paranoid thinking in the planning stage, seemed realistic, as well as funny. They only problem I had was how quickly the neighbor was involved for being that he didn't know of the couples plan. I can't what for the next chapter.
