A Sonnet!

Nothing like reading a sonnet first thing on a Sunday! And this is a lovely one, written with a searching delicacy that is somehow balanced with resolve. You made it work and I really enjoyed reading it. :)

An excellent and rich sonnet...

as well as a look into the heart and soul of a poet. The perseverance and tenacity to search and find meaning in images. Some wonderful metaphor and phrasing add dimension to it all. The meter, with the exception of a couple of breaks, is wonderful and the rhyme was very subtle. All in all a wonderful poem... a wonderful sonnet. Well done.
