Oooh, there just has to be a sequel to this.
Say you make this into a romantic story and then approach a distributor of camping-gear with the character. Can see it already - 'The Thing in the Woods' gear - rugged clothing perfumed with a faint smell of urine for single people - clothing that can get you laid (in the woods). Or - 'The Thing in the Woods' tents for bored couples, made with admittance for infrared sight - spice up your sex-life with a 3-way (in the woods).
Say you make this into a thriller - oh you get the idea. Just think 'Camping-gear'. Oooh, can't wait for chapter two - hey that rhymes!

I read it more like a short scifi horror than an erotic tale but nevertheless it is extremely well writen. You have 5 stars from me.
