It isn't often that I start crying while reading a story, but if you can read it and not cry, then your dead. Sometimes life throws you a curve, and sometimes a boulder. He lived thru the landslide and she shared the rest of his life, and the love of the children, etc. Could you, or have you, done so??? To Abby and Abbey, god bless you. You were loved. As a new author, I strongly advise you to get an editor. To many of the readers, using "you're" [which means you are] when you meant to use "your" [belonging to you] is very painful. Some don't notice such errors. Those who do are repelled by them, and will mark down the story accordingly, no matter how good the underlying writing is.
