I don't like that Penny is written to look so child-like. That makes it an uncomfortable read for me and spoils my enjoyment of the story. You could do something really interesting with future chapters and explore that aspect of your protag in a mature way but I suspect that wouldn't really be possible or appreciated here.
You're good, you're smart, you have real talent, and you write well. Your bio tells us you are very young. So I want to encourage you to keep at it. Don't let anyone dissuade you.
