I'm glad that you decided to continue Basic Shadow and hopefully you will continue to write more chapters at least until Shadow has her baby as that would be the perfect ending. With a possible final chapter some years after it down the road and bring people up to date on how their love and lives have grown. You are truly one of the best writers here and there hasn't been a story that I haven't liked and it is always a pleasure to read good plausible life stories based more on love than just sex. All the sex does is add to the love these two share. I'll win be looking for more stories from you in the future. Definitely a 5 STARS!
Thank you for keeping your promise and delivering yet another amazing chapter in this unorthodox love story. I simply cannot believe how much I enjoy a story about accounting, local politics, town management and bureaucracy, but then again everything you put together draws me in like a moth to a flame. The chapter might feel a bit business heavy but it all served a great purpose of both elevating Dee Dees standing in the eyes of the government official and to show how normal life looks for competent accountants, thus it all leads to so much passion in bed between the two when they finally get the time for it.
The best part is how determined are Gorge & Dee Dee to keep up their charade of a fake lover when everyone in town already knows about them and either supports them or doesn't care as long as they love each other. I'm avidly looking forward to the point in story when they finally come out clean to everyone only to get served a bunch of "We already knew" to their slack faces. Another great aspect is the time in-between the meeting where they lightly flirt or simply share a meal together, such small detail build a solid foundation for a great long-lasting story.
5* doesn't feel adequate yet it'll have to do for now.

I agree with the previous comment about the real-life aspects of this story; it's not about sweaty humping and inventive carnality, it's really a simple, leisurely love story between two people who happen to be brother and sister. They have realistic lives, and a place in a community who know them so well, and respect them so deeply, that their one transgression against the norm is completely overlooked because they're so well liked.
I really like the warmth and closeness between George and Dee Dee, and their mutual respect and consideration, overlaid with the compelling sense of reality that holds this tale together, and the pace and rate at which the continuing story elements unfold. That's why I found this part too short and over too soon. Thankfully the next chapter will be here as soon as you can wrangle it into shape, but I'm still waiting with bated breath and a keen anticipation.
5 Stars, and well deserved, in my opinion.

Each chapter is long enough to keep the story moving
but not so long that it drags along.
I'm wondering what will happen in the meeting with the State agencies. And that is an indication of a well written story.
