I guess I should've expected this from the way the first couple chapters went. Hunter and Bree are more and more repugnant as this goes on. I despise dishonesty and Bree's "I hate to deceive Vanessa, but I will" routine is the most dishonest of all. If she honestly hated it, she'd find someone single and suitable to her awakening desires instead of cheating with her sister's man. Of course, Hunter is still the worst of all because a man who cannot stay true to his bond (and if you allow your partner to believe you're exclusive, you have given that bond) is a loathsome toad. It's really too bad nobody in these stories gets the karmic payback they deserve, because fictional or not, Hunter and men like him need to be hit by a bus.
