I like the tone and feeling of it, but I wonder what it was about her that made her the forgotten bride. Why was she any less noticed than his other brides? Was she simply the only one left from that nest? Did whomever killed him kill everyone but her? Just some thoughts if you wanted to continue on. It's a good stand-alone piece as well... I'm just a bit intruiged by some of the possibilities.
