This was a nice little story with humour, romance and likeable characters. An enjoyable first attempt and hopefully not Rockofmarriages last.

Fun

Nicely developed, interesting, and ripe for continuation. I'd also advise an editor for grammar/homonyms/punctuation, and as a Cali native note that "Sierra" is Spanish for "mountains", so "Sierras" means "mountainss".

This I loved. I only comment when I thoroughly enjoy a story and I can say I surely did enjoy this one. I, too, would like to see the story continue through their wedding and building of Donk's dream house and the lovers surviving a severe winter and having their first child. Please continue.

Thank you all for the comments - I have to say that seeing over 20K reviews is well beyond my expectations. This was a story that quite literally popped into my head while I am writing a different (and longer) story.

I am in 100% agreement that I need an editor, as my style of writing is unique. I use MSWord spelling/grammar check, but it is not that good. I am trying to find an editor here on Literotica.com: As that is a volunteer role, their services are in very high demand. If you know one - send them my way.

Due to demand, I guess I have to return to this story once I get chapter 1 of my other story edited and posted.

"Donk" was a truly enjoyable story. You developed some interesting characters and put them into a great setting. You really need to continue this with more of Donk, Annie and the rest of the clan.

Incest story?

Good story, but between cousins, is this a real story of incest? Cousins can marry, until Charles Darwin married his cousin, as did Jerry Lee Lewis. Even Woody Allen married his adopted daughter, and no one called him incest.
I think this story should have a continuation, and perhaps be in the romance section, depending on how the author continues to plot the story.
For me, it's a nice story, more romantic than incestuous.
5 * for you, and hoping there will be more chapters to come.
