Interesting story. Interesting character---feeling unfulfilled in his marriage he reaches out and establishes a phone-sex relationship, then when they meet he's willing to share some things but not everything.
"We better get dressed," he says. "You've got that business meeting in 20 minutes and I have an appointment to get to."
I guess I feel sad for him. Sad that his marriage is what it is, sad that he has to disappoint his phone partner, sad that he thinks he's maintained some kind of integrity. I don't know if this is the feeling you were trying to convey, but it's what came across to me.
Trying to make him someone caught in a bad spot in his marriage, finds lust in a cyber and phone sex partner. Then he faces his personal ethical dilema in whether or not to cheat and make the fantasy a reality. He reaches a solution he thinks he can live with. It's up to the reader to decide if he/she wants to feel sorry for him, can relate to him on some level, or feel something else. Just like with the female character, is she slutty, someone who wants fantasy to become reality, or something else? It's up to the reader to decide how to feel about the characters.
