It's really not typical for the stories I tend to read here, but somehow the way it was presented, the view point and the slow build up and the twist really worked for me.
Not everything has to fit into well established ruts and everybody that dares to use a little imagination and try something a little off the beaten track deserves some credit.

Seems like two stories in one
Fantastic tale, but it seemed disjointed at times.
Absolutely loved the entire ending sequence.
