I agree that my ending wasn't great. Was planning a sequel but should have a better ending to segue from. To the last (typically) anonymous comment all I can say is 'Duh!' It is my fantasy and 'sloppy seconds' is what it is mainly about. Each to their own. Find stories you DO like, or write your own.
