Great job

I love the repetition and the pictures you paint. Edit just a bit and it would be great!

Dispelling humdity

I grew up in New Jersey, but now live in Los Angeles. Besides fireflies on a summer night, I also miss thunder and lightning storms.....the storms that bring relief to humidity like the lovemaking you describe does to horniness.

I like the rhythms and compact storytelling of this poem.

Many thanks to both of you

Syndra and Sapphos,

Thank you for reading my work and for taking the time to make comments. When I read a sampling of your work I believe you are both being way too kind in your reviews. But I thank you both anyway!

Syndra, my problem with cleaning up poetry is that I'm torn between capturing the initial feel and worrying that I may edit it away. I tend to be a bit impulsive with my poetry as far as submitting it here. I am a bit more careful with my stories. I'll have to keep an eye on that. Thanks for pointing out the need to clean it up a bit.

Sapphos, Even your reviews of my work seem more poetic than my own words! Thank you!

Have a great week! Janine
