interesting, but I'm not sure you sold me on the whole metaphor, maybe a little bit more length would have solidified the complete imagery for me, but I'm feeling like I'm missing something... Oh, I know what it is, your history. THere's no history to this poem, and so I don't understand how you related before, you know, so this poem makes more sense to you as a whole, right now I'm just getting a vignette that alludes to somethign grander... oh yeah, just a question... who is your Capt. Hook?

this one really made me smile, especially the asking after Tink, reminded me of my gramma, she was always asking after someone. Love being part of your thought process here and i hope you post more:)
