I usually read longer stories piecemeal
since I only have a limited amount of time online, but sometimes a story comes along that's so compelling and interesting that I simply keep on reading. That's what happened with this story. I just couldn't break away from the monitor.
Very well written and with such an interesting storyline! I really enjoyed the entire story.
Pretty good - but could have been better
I loved the concept - the idea of people coming to a sanctuary and shedding their inhibitions sets the stage for a passionate and sensual series of encounters. The grand temple on the island was a wonderful idea - it's too bad you didn't really use it. Like the previous poster stated, the story was very gripping. I ended up reading the whole 26 chapters in one sitting.
Criticisms: The sex was ok in places, but bland most of the time... I understand that you had to put in a ridiculous amount of them... since many scenes were part of the plot (i.e. Helen needing to talk to Sally), and making each and every one of them really detailed would be asking for a lot... but there was a lot of potential wasted, especially the sanctuary scenes. Wild passionate orgies, sensual rituals... they could have spent time learning techniques and shedding the "slot A slot B" mentality. Or learning how to orgasm with breath. Or, how about everyone ties up one person, and take things like ice, warm oil, feathers, vibrators, satin sheets, and... well, isn't it obvious what they'd do? The possibilites are endless for what such a group could spend their time doing.
Futhermore, I feel there was way too much focus on Helen's interactions with Sally. It lent a lot to repetitiveness, and having the sex cut off during orgasm every time was a bit annoying.
Other than these gripes, it's a good quality story, and I do hope you make a sequel. One that takes place at the grand temple. The sheer beauty and sanctity of such a place... I can think of little else that I'd rather visit!
